Who We Are

The firm of Moni Mukele and Company Advocates was registered on the 31st day of July 2006 by Edwin Moni Mukele under the Registration of Business Names Act (Chapter 499 of the Laws of Kenya). On the 18th day September 2006, the name of the firm was amended to Mukele Moni and Company Advocates and a Certificate of Registration of Change of Particulars was issued to this effect.

The firm handles cases in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the High Court and subordinate courts within the country including Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Kisii, Kakamega, Bungoma, and Busia. We are, however, willing to serve in any region or station as may be necessary.


The firm has a staff complement of 22, comprising of advocates, legal assistants, interns and support staff. The advocates have a wealth of experience and are all advocates of the High Court.


Support staff includes administrative assistants and legal assistants supported by consultants in administration, human resource and information technology.

Support Staff

Our support staff comprises of (1) one Operations and HR Manager, one (1) Accountant, four (4) Legal Assistants, three (3) administrative assistants, one (1) Driver, an ICT Consultant and one (1) Office Assistant. They are competitively recruited and have vast experience in their respective areas of work. 

They undergo training regularly to improve their proficiency and to ensure that they have a high level of client care and associated practices.

Pupils

Each year we recruit at least three (3) students as part of our contribution to the training of advocates and maintenance of excellent professional standards. The pupils are selected via formal interviews and undergo extensive training in all areas of law including but not limited to commercial litigation, conveyance, Corporate and Commercial work, Judicial Review, negotiation and interviewing skills. In addition to the legal and skills training our pupils are taught about client care and professional ethics

The firm is located on the 2nd floor of I&M Bank House at Upper Hill area of Nairobi occupying approximately 2326 square feet. This affords us close proximity to the Law Courts including the Commercial Court, Employment and Labour Relations Court, Environment and Industrial Court, Civil Court, the Ministry of Lands, Housing and the National Land Commission which are central to our functions and operations in ensuring quality services to our clients. 


We have invested in good Information Technology infrastructure that ensures efficient service delivery and client satisfaction. We have deployed state of the art business equipment including networked computers, unlimited internet access and a case management system that ensures safety and easy access to files. 


Our office also boasts of a robust library with the most recent legal publications and literature.

The ministry runs a school and a child rescue center which currently has 23 kids who are under the child protection program.
